Description: Woodside Senior Communities is at the momment seeking for Health Care Assistant - 37.5 hours/pay period (2:00pm-10:00pm) right now, this vacancy will be placed in Wisconsin. Phoning, mailing and faxing physician phone orders for signatur! es and ensure they are returned in a timely manner.

Transfer tenants, in wheelchairs, from room to commons area, dining area, activities or church.

Answer call lights.

Understand the importance and necessity of accurate documentation.

Provide care on the basis of infection control and blood borne pathogen policy and procedures.

Turn and reposition bedridden, hospice patients, alone or with assistance, to prevent bedsores.

Observe tenant conditions, measuring and recording food and liquid intake and output and vital signs, and report changes to professional staff, physician and/or family.

Provide tenants with help walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed.

Bathe, groom, shave, dress, and complete incontinent care as needed.

Adhere to established tenant care policies.

Collect specimens such as urine, feces, or sputum.

Serve on the appropriate committees required by the S! tate and Federal Codes.

Other duties as assigned.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to enter the job.

Experience as a Nursing Assistant in a CBRF or other health care setting.

Nursing Assistant certification preferred.

Certification in medication administration, or willing to obtain.

Additional knowledge, skills and abilities required to competently perform the job.

Maintain up to date CNA licensure, if applicable.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization.

Must be able to relate to and work with elderly that may be ill, disabled, emotionally upset and, at times, hostile within the organization.
