The Nurse Clinician / RN Supervisor provides oversight of the daily operations of the department including implementation of programs, staffing and personnel issues and fiscal monitoring; providing input to the Director/Manager regarding policies, procedures, systems and operating budgets; and providing direct Nursing leadership, nursing staff development patient care and patient advocacy. The Supervisor may also perform RN duties to skillfully assess the patient’s health and response to interventions, provide treatments, and offer education and counseling that lead to improvement of the patient/family’s self management skills. This position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive re! lationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
QUALIFI! CATIONS (minimum requirements)

Education and/or years experience required:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Over two year’s nursing experience in related specialty, ambulatory setting; or community health with demonstrated leadership ability.

Licensure/Certifications required:

• Current license with the appropriate State Board of Nursing.
• Current BCLS certification or ability to become certified within 3 months from date of hire.
