Description: Sauk County, WI is hiring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) right now, this job will be placed in Wisconsin. The purpose of positions in this classification is to provide direct certified nursing care under the direction o! f Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses at Sauk County Health Care Center.

Essential Duties:
The following duties are normal for this classification. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Assists or feed residents. Passes and collects food trays. Provides dietary supplements and/or between meal nourishment.
Assists with and/provides resident hygiene. Assists with and/or bathes residents and dresses residents.
Reports change in resident behavior or condition and reports to unit nurse
Records residents' vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration as directed.
Performs treatments as directed including administering enemas and catheter care.
Answers all light calls promptly. Meets residents needs/requests.
Records treatment, food input, bowel movements and other nursing tasks and resident information to residents' charts.
Assists ambul! atory residents moving around. Transfers non-ambulatory, non-w! eight bearing residents. Re-positions residents.
Changes bed linens. Adjusts beds. Directs visitors.
Transports residents to and from dentist, podiatrists, beauty shop and on/off unit recreational activities.

Additional Tasks:
While the following tasks are necessary for the work of the unit, they are not an essential part of the purpose of this classification and may also be performed by other unit members.
Provides water to residents.
Disposes of garbage. Tidies residents rooms.
Retrieves trays and supplies from kitchen.
Obtains clean linen, bags soiled linen and transports to appropriate area.

Minimum Training and Education:
Valid State nursing assistant certification with previous related experience preferred, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
