Waukesha County has a population of 390,000 and is located in the Southeast corner of Wisconsin, next to the Milwaukee Metropolitan area, two hours northwest of Chicago, 30 minutes from downtown Milwaukee and approximately one hour from Madison.

Successful candidate will possess previous utilization management experience and a minimum of one (1) year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care psychiatric setting. Position will perform initial admission and concurrent telephonic chart reviews. Position will assess and monitor patients, determine eligibility for treatments, and ensure plan of care meets patient’s needs as well as provide direction on ways to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, receive appropriate reimbursement, and meet regulatory requirements. Strong customer service skills including a sense of urgency and ownership for resolving issues are essential for position.

Requires graduation from a recognized registered nursing education program and a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin.

Hourly Range: $27.02 - $34.53. This is an on-going, non-benefited position to work 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 10:00 am â€" 4:30 pm.
