Description: Milwaukee Center For Independence is currently interviewing Driver right now, this career will be placed in Wisconsin. MCFI has a Driver position open working our food service program in the morning and our Pediatric Skilled Nursing Program in the afternoon. You will work roughly 35 hours per week. You will transport f! ood in a van or box truck to both charter and choice schools in the city of Milwaukee in the mornings and you will safely operate a vehicle (van or minibus) transporting kids with special medical needs to and from our facility at 2020 W Wells Street in the afternoons. You will complete documentation, do vehicle inspection, interact with parents, school staff, coworkers and nursing staff and provide excellent customer service.

This is a benefits eligible position

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

Valid WI driver’s license with a good driving record (as deemed appropriate by the MCFI liability insurance carrier and Logisticare requirements)

Previous experience transporting passengers preferred

Ability to occasionally stoop and bend while being able to lift, pull, carry or push up to 50 pounds

Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification, defensive driving and wheelchair tie down trainin! g within the first 2 weeks of training.
