Position: Director of Birthing Center
Location: North Central Wisconsin

Merraine Group Inc . has been retained by a non-profit, community-directed health system with 6,000 employees in the efforts of recruiting a Director of Nursing for their Birthing Center. Serving as a regional health resource the flagship hospital is a re-designated Magnet facility (less than 2% of hospitals nationwide have achieved Magnet re-designation) licensed for 300+ beds and staffed by 300+ physicians in 35 specialties.
Salary â€" 85,000 â€"110,000

Position Focus
Responsible for the day to day operations of the LDRP facility and Level 3 NICU 10+ private rooms, family support accommodations and the exceptional talent of our dedicated multi- modality staff and area transport teams. Develops and maintains a professional practice environment that affords and enhances patient care. Maximizes quality and safety , ensuring positive outcomes of patient care and service Provides leadership and mentoring to multidisciplinary teams, to enab! le staff to assess their own strengths and weaknesses and buil! d relationships.

Requirements
MSN or BSN with a Master’s degree in a related area. A minimum of five years’ experience as a nurse in an acute care facility. A minimum three years’ experience at the Director level. Demonstrated expertise Obstetrics’ and newborn healthcare. Ability to establish and maintain a positive working relationship and rapport with physicians, other department leaders, staff and peers. Strong leadership, communication and critical thinking skills need to effectively prioritize time and resources.
