Description: Froedtert Health is looking of OB TECHNICIAN (SJH)-LABOR AND DELIVERY-OPT-.001 FTE-ROTATING SHIFTS-ST. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL-WEST BEND, WI right now, this position will be placed in Wisconsin. More details about this position opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. SUMMARY: Under the direction ! and supervision of a registered nurse, the OB Technician performs a variety of routine duties within the obstetric department including organization of environment, maintenance of equipment, assisting with operative/delivery room procedures, basic tasks necessary to provide for care, comfort and safety of patients, and clerical support. Responsible to the Labor and Delivery Patient Care Supervisor and the RN's on duty on each assigned shift. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED.
OTHER SKILLS: Knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology and medical terminology, and successful completion of a training program in OR/OB procedures and sterile techniques.
