Telephone triage.a. Give patients telephone advice using nursing judgment within the scope of license.b.
Communicate with providers about patient calls received.c. Triage patients to the appropriate setting if there is a need to be seen.d. Provide patient education.2. Report test results to patients and instructs as to the appropriate follow-up.3.
Call in prescription refills as directed.4. Assist in scheduling patients.5. Communicate with hospitals and other offices as directed by providers.6. Rooming patients.7.
Assisting with procedures.8. Perform related work as required/ requested by the supervisor/coordinator.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCERN with current Wisconsin license.Current CPR Certification.NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIESOther duties as assigned.TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDSWork requires physical hand dexterity and f! ull range of motion for operation of computer. Requires sitting for long periods. Requires ability to hear and see within the normal range.
Requires ability to work under stressful or emergency situations with high concentration and energy level.TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONSWork is performed in an office environment. Involves phone contact with a various array of patients, employees, and providers.
