Join our growing organization in a newly created Diabetic Educator position!
Divine Savior Healthcare is currently recrui! ting for a Nurse Practitioner to manage our Diabetic Education program. The selected candidate will:
A. Work in coordination with nursing and clinic staff to provide diabetes education for patients in inpatient, long term care, and outpatient settings.
B. Assist nursing staff with ongoing diabetes patient education.
C. Assist with the implementation of future diabetes education programs.
D. Assist with the diabetic education programs and screenings, as needed.
E. Assist with staff educaton related to diabetes.
Requirements: Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, Experience related to Diabetes Education, current RN license with the State of Wisconsin, Certification as an Advanced Diabetes Management Nurse Practitioner, AADE Board Certified Diabetic Educator (pending or attained).
