The Program

The

Cardiac Center

cardiologists treat more hearts than any other facility in the region. Through a combination of skill and leading-edge technologies, a wide range of cardiac diagnostic services are provided including pediatric and adult cardiac catheterization, echo cardiography, stress and electrophysiological testing and 24-hour monitoring services. In 2006, a program was introduced to improve the speed and quality of care given to heart attack victims throughout the region.

The Position

Under the general direction of the Director of Cardiac Services, the

Manager, Invasive Cardiac Services

manages direct clinical, process, and staff activities within the Cardiac Invasive Section, which includes 3 cardiac cath labs treating 3000+ patients and 2 electrophysiology labs treating 700+ patient! s annually.

The successful candidate will be a clinic! ian with wide expertise in the delivery of cardiac cath lab care.

The Manager also creates, leads, and/or facilitates intra-departmental task teams which address specific departmental problems and refine section processes.

The manager is the section liaison for hospital departments and cardiologists concerning clinical interactions, planning, and concerns.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related field required. RCIS required for non-RN candidates. Management experience or educational training preferred. Must maintain any licensure or certification as background training indicates. Must maintain basic life support certification, ACLS preferred.
