The Registered Nurse functions as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success of Marshfield Clinic by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism and self-develop ment, and teamwork. S/he utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. This individual demonstrates excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and makes decisions consistent with Marshfield Clinic policies, department protocols/guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.

Job Qualifications:

Education (Education qualifications must be from a school whose accreditation is recognized by Marshfield Clinic Health System.)

Required Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Experience

Preferr ed/Optional Experience: Two years nursing experience preferred

Certifications/Licenses

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position, which must be maintained in good standing:

• Wisconsin Registered Nurse License (unrestricted)

• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)

• Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location)

• Affiliated staff privileges at associated hospital may be required (varies by department/location)
