The Registered Nurse-Hospital functions as a vital member of the healthcare team by demonstrating a customer/patient focus, effective communication, p rofessionalism and self-development, and teamwork. The individual utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. The Registered Nurse - Hospital is expected to demonstrate excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal and leadership skills and make decisions consistent with hospital policies, department protocols/guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.

***This position will work within Marshfield Medical Center in the Outpatient Cardiac Center and will work with pre and post cardiac procedures.***

This position may be eligible for a Recruitment Bonus paid with the the first pay check of employment.

Job Qualifications:

Education (Education qualifications must be from a school whose accreditation is recognized by Marshfield Clinic Health System.)

Required Education: Diploma or degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Experience

Preferred/Optional Experience: Experience in an acute care setting.

Certifications/Licenses

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position, which must be maintained in good standing:

Minimum Required: Current unrestricted State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
