Description: Children's Hospital of Wisconsin is currently seeking to employ Clinic Nurse - RN right now, this vacancy will be situated in Wisconsin. For detail informations about this vacancy opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient/family needs and nursing care in the primary care setting. Enhances patient safety and the quality and effectiveness of care delivery. Provides for the health educational needs of families, ma nages patient care, demonstrates professional/clinical competency, and practices within the Code of Ethics for nurses and the Standards of Nursing Practice. The RN will collaborate with other disciplines within the care team and coordinate patient assessment, develop/monitor outcomes, implement plan of care and monitor variances to ensure quality patient care. Delegates patient care responsibilities appropriately to staff members of the health care team and maintains accountability for the quality of care. The RN utilizes standards, protocols and guidelines that include information on medical diagnoses, self-management and preventive health.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an ADN or a BSN in order to meet the recommended entry level for a professional nurse. BSN is preferred.
A license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin or must have temporary permit/license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin and schedul ed to take state boards to obtain license within three months from start date as a GN.
Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
