As a Hospice patient nears the final 24â€"48 hours! of life, it is important for the patient and family to have roundâ€"theâ€"clock support. No one should leave this life alone.
That is where our Continuous Care program comes in. We offer an RN to provide that essential end of life care, when it matters most. You have the opportunity to create a positive hospice experience during a very challenging time. It is a meaningful responsibility and, for many, a calling.
There is no job more rewarding. Our Continuous Care program offers a variety of scheduling choices for our nurses. You determine your On Call availability for any shift(s), any day(s). Whether you want fullâ€"time with full benefits or to fillâ€"in on a very Pool basis, you control your schedule.
All Continuous Care RNs must be available for at least two weeks of fullâ€"time weekday orientation. Qualifications include a degree from an Accredited School of Nursing, WI RN license, and at least one year of previous nursing experience. Since ! these positions travel throughout Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee! , and Washington County, you must also have a valid WI driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
