As an Admission Nurse - RN , you will:

• Assist the team in the interpretation of policies, procedures, as well as state and federal regulations. Participate/conduct nurse and home health aide supervisory visits. Act as an information resource for the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in patient/family meeting to investigate customer concerns and potential for discharge/revocations.
• Identify patients appropriately before administering nursing care, medications, treatments, and personal care.
• Record all entries on flow sheet, notes, forms, and charts in an informative and descriptive manner targeting terminal diagnosis.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
• Prefer a minimum of two (2) years experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in the home health field; one (1) year of hospice experience preferred.
• Current unrestricted licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) to which assigned and current CPR certification
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to function with minimal supervision
• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult situations.
